UNSW Annual Report 2024
The brief for the UNSW 2024 Annual Report was not just to update the previous year’s design but to balance important information while delivering a visually engaging publication that aligned with the university’s brand identity.
There were many changes and refinements along the way for this 184-page document. It’s important to note that a job such as this requires not only design and long document experience but the ability to closely liaise with clients and to deliver with speed and accuracy.
Alongside the print design, I developed a fully accessible digital PDF, ensuring compliance with WCAG 2.1 AA standards. This included structuring logical reading order, applying accurate tagging, adding alternative text for images, and ensuring correct heading hierarchies and navigational elements. The result was a polished publication that is both stylish and inclusive, enabling all audiences to engage with UNSW’s achievements and strategic vision.
