I was asked to design and produce Toolkit and Overview documents entitled International Protection for People Displaced Across Borders in the Context of Climate Change and Disasters, collaborative publications by researchers from the Center for Gender & Refugee Studies (University of California College of the Law, San Francisco), the Kaldor Centre for International Refugee Law (UNSW Sydney), and the School of Law and Human Rights Centre (University of Essex).

A new visual style was developed for the project, creating a clear and contemporary design system that unified the two documents and gave the series a strong, standalone identity. Layouts and graphic elements were structured to present complex information in a clean, readable format suitable for academic and policy audiences.

The documents were produced in both English and Spanish, an interesting challenge as I don’t speak a word of Spanish.
