In the design world, there aren't many all-rounders left. I design, write project copy, formulate strategy, construct websites, troubleshoot and write theory.

In design, I believe it's important to question the accepted approach. You might see that in my articles and in the way I attack a particular design challenge. If there's a "done way" then I will certainly test it out.

This has nothing to do with a desire to be different. Finding the most elegant, logical and effective way of solving a problem means leaving preconceptions at the door. This covers the way in which a table of contents is designed to the way in which a company's image is being projected.

If there's one question that I ask, it's this: What is the best way to make this project work!
